Kids in Action
The Problem
When we started working with Kids in Action, they had a very basic, dated looking site which they found difficult to update and which wasn’t getting much engagement with visitors.
Their 25th anniversary was coming up and they were also planning to bring on a new member of staff to help get their message out on social media, so it was agreed that the site needed a new look and feel to capitalise on the increased interest in the coming year.
Our Approach
This project started out as a simple site refresh but ended up turning into a full blown redesign! We wanted the site to properly represent Kids in Action so we took their tired old site and completely redesigned it to be modern, colourful, friendly and easy to use.
We also put Kids in Action in touch with one of our preferred copywriters who worked with them to translate their vision and enthusiasm into an engaging story which runs through the site.
The Result
The resulting new site has vastly improved the user journey and makes it much easier for visitors to find the information they’re looking for. We’ve also kept in mind that the main goal of the site is to engage with visitors and encourage them to get involved, provide support or donate to Kids in Action.
The new site is also much easier for staff to update regularly and there’s also huge potential to add to and develop the new site as Kids in Action grow, an exciting time!
