The Problem
The company’s previous website was built in 2014, and was looking dated and thin on content compared to their competitors.
A bigger issue though, was that the old site was suffering from a lack of visibility in search engines, meaning it wasn’t being found in Google for the kinds of keywords their customers were using.
Our Approach
Even though we had worked with Protronix before in the past, we started the project in the same way we always do – by asking lots of questions! What are your core services? What types of clients would you like more of? What makes you different from your competitors?
Once we’d built up a picture of the business and where they fit in to the marketplace we did some keyword research on Google, put together a sitemap and got to work on the copy for each page – including lots more content in search engine friendly formats like FAQs.
The Result
The result is an up to date professional site which gives a much better overall impression of the company, and much more accessible information about what they do and their areas of expertise.
Search engine rankings have also improved after the redesign, but this is a competitive industry so to see real results from SEO will take much more time and effort.
