Cardno: eCommerce Website Redesign
The Problem
Cardno had been selling online for over 10 years but were still using the same basic, self hosted website which was not mobile or search engine friendly, difficult for their customers to use, and even more difficult for them to update with new products.
They approached us to redesign their eCommerce website and consolidate their previous websites into one central website.
Our Approach
We started the project with our usual discovery & research process to get an insight into Cardno’s business and set their goals for the project.
We then established who their target customers are and identified their competitors to see what we’d be up against. Using this information we put together a strategy for the project.
We then developed a new easy to use, mobile friendly eCommerce website with a custom design on the Shopify platform.
We also set up their payment gateway, configured their VAT & shipping settings and customised their automated customer emails and invoices to reflect their branding.
The Result
The more modern and simplified design has helped their customers find the products they need much more easily and the feedback from existing customers has been overwhelmingly positive.
The new website is also much easier for staff at Cardno to use and gives them the tools they need to effectively market their business which this has helped them to steadily grow their online revenue.
