Website Management FAQs

Got questions about our website management services? Take a look below, or feel free to get in touch!

In most cases, yes. Some businesses do choose to manage their website in-house. However, this requires a specialist team that has niche knowledge and know-how. Many organisations find that it’s much more cost-effective – and less hassle – to outsource website management to an expert. Subscribing to a WebsiteCare plan gives you the peace of mind that it’s all being taken care of.

Of course! When it comes to making small changes – such as adding a new blog post or updating some text on your website – we always encourage our clients to do this in-house as it’s quick and simple.

But if you’re not comfortable doing this, don’t worry! We’re always here to help whenever we’re needed, whether it’s making small changes, or handling more complex software and security issues.

We like to check in with our clients every 6 months to discuss how the website is performing. This gives us all a chance to sit down and review the site, making sure everything’s up-to-date, working as it should, and attracting the right people.

This is a chance for both sides to make suggestions for improvements, or put forward new ideas that could produce even more powerful outcomes.

Don’t panic! If something isn’t working as you’d expect, we’re always your first point of contact. We’ll diagnose the problem, and get to work fixing it immediately if it’s covered by your WebsiteCare plan.

If not, we’ll provide clear information about what’s wrong, giving you the flexibility to have the issue resolved either by us, or by an alternative provider.

Different packages include different levels of coverage. However, most of the common issues will be covered by our WebsiteCare plans.

The primary exception is for issues that have been caused by human error within your team, such as making changes in-house that impact website functionality. In this situation, you may be able to use support hours for us to resolve the issues, if these are included in your plan.

Traffic is an important metric for measuring how your website is performing. We make it easy to see how many people you’re attracting by installing Google Analytics – or a compliant alternative like Fathom – on your new website. These tools keep track of visitor figures.

We’ll keep you up-to-date by sending monthly visitor statistics if you choose a WebsiteCare plan with this feature.

We sure can! As we won’t have been involved in the design and development, our first step is to learn more about how your site has been built. We do this by undertaking a website audit.

The audit involves  reviewing and assessing the current site, identifying issues & opportunities plus  some time to fix functional issues such as broken contact forms.

Website audits start at £195 + VAT.
